Egyptian actress, Sahar El Sayegh will star in season two of the TV series “Ella Ana” (Except Me).
El Sayegh is set to be the lead actress in the story “Beat Ezz” (House of Generosity).
The cast also includes Rushdi Al Shami, Safaa El-Toukhi, Salwa Mohamed Aly, Samy Maghawry, Hager El Sharnouby, Tamer Nabil, and Essam El Sakka.
Production is slated to kick off on August 1st.
“Ella Ana” carries the same theme of season one, centering on women's life stories.
Season one of “Ella Ana” was written and based on an idea by Yousry El Fakharany.
The first season achieved great success during its premiere in 2020, which centered around eight stories around women that were pided into 10 episodes.
It featured stories starring Wafa Amer, Arwa Gouda, Hanan Motawie, Shery Adel, Kinda Alloush, Riham Abdel Ghafour, Jamila Awad, and Dorra Zarrouk.
