Safadi Commends Key Roles of Egypt, Pakistan & Turkey in Regional De-escalation Efforts

​Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, emphasized the pivotal roles of Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey in efforts to de-escalate regional tensions and prevent the conflict from expanding.

Moreover, he reiterated Jordan's firm position in condemning Iranian attacks on the Kingdom and other Arab and Islamic nations.

​In separate phone calls today with Syrian Foreign Minister Assaad al-Shaibani and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Safadi stressed the urgency of activating joint Arab action to safeguard Arab national security and restore regional stability. 

He further reaffirmed Jordan's support for the Syrian government's efforts to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens.

​During his discussion with Ishaq Dar, Safadi explored ongoing efforts to curb the escalation, highlighting the depth of Jordan-Pakistan relations and their solidarity in facing shared challenges. 

He specifically expressed appreciation for the vital role played by Pakistan, alongside Egypt and Turkey, in this strategic framework.
