Egyptian actress, Safaa El Toukhy announced Tuesday on Facebook that she tested positive for the coronavirus.
As of March 30, the novel coronavirus infected over 127,349 million people and killed 2,787 others worldwide since it emerged in China in 2019, according to WHO.
On the other hand, the actress is set to participate in Ramadan 2021 with TV series “Covid-25”, starring Youssef El Sherif.
It also stars Ayten Amer, Ahmed Salah Hosny, Amir Salaheldeen, Diana Hisham, Myrna Noureldin, Randa El Behery, and others.
“Covid-25” consists of 15 episodes and is set to be screened in the second half of Ramadan.
It is written by Engy Alaa, directed by Ahmed Nader Galal, and produced by Synergy production company.
The actress participated last Ramadan with TV series “The End“.
