Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has been pictured in Bayern Munich kit for the first time as his move to the Bundesliga edges closer to completion.
The 30-year-old landed in Germany this morning to undergo his medical with reports suggesting he could be unveiled as a Bayern player early as Wednesday.
Liverpool and their German giants reached an agreement last week for Mane’s signature. The Reds will receive an initial £27.4m and a further £7.7m in potential add-ons.
And images have now emerged on social media from reporter Philipp Kessler showing the Senegal star kitted out in Bayern’s training wear and signing autographs for supporters. Earlier photos showed him arriving to undergo his medical.
Liverpool have already identified and signed Mane’s replacements.
Luis Diaz joined the Reds from Porto back in January, allowing Mane to flourish as a centre-forward in the second half of last season.
Now, Jurgen Klopp’s side have added further quality in the attacking areas with the arrival of Darwin Nunez from Benfica.
The 22-year-old Uruguay international striker has signed for an initial £64m with a further £21.5m in potential add-ons. Should those all be paid out and the overall figure rises to £85m, Nunez will become Liverpool’s most expensive ever signing ahead of Virgil van Dijk.
Mane is moving on after six trophy-laden years at Anfield, in which time he has scored 120 goals in 269 appearances.
