New Korean Ambassador to Egypt, Mr.Hong Jin-wook visited this morning El Saleheya El Gadida Central Hospital in Sharqia Governorate to celebrate the delivery of two medical devices, an oxygen tank and a CT scan device.
The ambassador indicated that this comes as part of the $ 200,000 Korean government's official development aid that aims at improving the hospital's ability to provide high-quality health services to the public and contribute to efforts to combat COVID-19.
Korean companies also expressed their willingness to provide Egypt with medical equipment to help in fighting COVID-19, as well as transferring their expertise by participating in Egyptian national projects in the health sector.
The Ambassador also met with Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Sharqia, they discussed the economic cooperation between Sharqia Governorate and Korean companies. Mr.Hong Jin-wook said that Sharqia Governorate has a number of major Korean factories in Egypt.
