South Korean President Moon Jae-in cancelled on Wednesday his planned tour to Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Turkey, amid Coronavirus outbreak, according to the presidential Blue House.
"In response to the wide spread of Coronavirus, we have decided not to go ahead with the tour," presidential blue house spokesman Kang Min-seok said in a statement.
South Korea registered 516 new Coronavirus cases on Wednesday, raising the country's total tally to 5,328.
It is worth mentioning, the epidemic has killed over 3,000 people worldwide, with the vast majority in mainland China and infected 90,000 globally.
Last week, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Iraq reported their first cases of the virus, meanwhile, the other Arab countries reported many cases over the last few days.
Several countries issued a travel ban on Iran to contain the outbreak.
China is trying with all its might to confront the effects resulting from the outbreak of the new Coronavirus, via a series of strong and effective measures that seek to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by this deadly virus.
