South Korea plans to deepen trade relations with India and enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of supply chain and technology to expand trade diversification and reduce dependence on China, according to Reuters.
"In the era of economic security, it is necessary to strengthen supply chain and technology cooperation with New Delhi," South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin, who is visiting India, issued a statement on Sunday, according to "Bloomberg" agency.
South Korean Minister stressed that India has huge growth potential, and is an important partner for South Korea.
During his meeting with local entrepreneurs and Korean expatriates in the southern city of Chennai, Park Jin said that Indian companies play an important role in deepening trade cooperation between India and South Korea.
