Hollywood star Ryan Gosling is set to star in "The Actor", an adaptation of Donald E. Westlake's novel "Memory".
Gosling will also produce the movie alongside film producer Ken Kao. The actor will play the lead role of Paul Cole, who deals with his damaged memory as he struggles to rebuild his life after being left for dead and hospitalized in 50s Ohio. Cole embarks on a journey to find home, love and ultimately himself.
The movie will be directed by Duke Johnson, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Stephen Cooney.
