Rwanda Sends Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

In a poignant display of solidarity with Palestinian civilians affected by the relentless Israeli attacks, Rwanda has dispatched humanitarian assistance to Gaza.

A cargo plane carrying 16 tons of crucial supplies, including medicine, food, and water, touched down in Jordan. The aid is expected to reach Gaza through the Rafah border crossing, as reported by "East African" news.

Rwandan government spokesperson Yolande Makolo emphasized that Rwanda, working through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization on behalf of the Jordanian government, has extended humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Makolo further stated, "The donation, received for the support of ongoing international relief efforts in Oman, consists of 16 tons of food items, including fortified foods for children, medicines, and medical supplies."

She underscored the urgent need to halt the escalation to safeguard the lives of innocent civilians.
