The Russian Central Bank decided to raise the key interest rate by 2% from 16% to 18%, annually.
The Russian Central Bank stated in a statement following its board meeting, Friday, that the decision to raise the annual interest rate came to confront the current inflation.
This increase in the new interest rate level (18% ) is the highest since the beginning of April 2022.
