Russian Prime Minister (PM) Mikhail Mishustin arrived in Vietnam on Monday for an official visit.
According to the Russian news agency TASS, the visit is scheduled to last for two days. Mishustin is expected to meet with Vietnamese President Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong.
TASS also reported that Mishustin will hold discussions with representatives of Vietnam's business community.
The Russian government previously announced that Prime Minister Mishustin intends to discuss economic, technological, and humanitarian cooperation between Moscow and Hanoi with Vietnam's leadership.
