After the fifth international scientific and religious conference, "Spiritual Silk Road: The Importance of Religious Values in the Greater Eurasia Region," held in Kazan, Russia, the Russian Mufti Sheikh Rawi Ainuddin presented Dr. Usama al-Sayyid Al-Azhari, Egypt's Minister of Religious Endowments, with the Medal of Honor.
This award recognizes Dr. Al-Azhari's significant efforts to strengthen Russian-Egyptian bilateral relations, foster cooperation, and elevate mutual interests to more comprehensive horizons.
Al-Azhari has played a prominent role in building bridges of communication between the Religious Administration of Muslims in Russia and various institutions and entities in Egypt, including the Ministry of Religious Endowments.
His work has opened wide avenues for cooperation and joint efforts in scientific, religious, and humanitarian fields, contributing to the continuous development and growth of bilateral relations at all levels.
Al-Azhari participated in the fifth "Spiritual Silk Road" conference, emphasizing the importance of religious values in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation.
This event marked his first official visit abroad since assuming his ministerial role. During the conference, he delivered an opening address and met with several delegations from various countries on the sidelines of the event.
