Russian Delegation to Visit Hurghada Airport on Wednesday

Next Wednesday, Hurghada International Airport will receive a Russian security delegation to inspect the airport's security and overview the latest safety measures inside the travel and arrival halls. The delegation will also inspect the procedures for securing bags and scan travelers, and to ensure the presence of security personnel in the right places for them.

The Russian delegation will also inspect the precautionary measures that the aviation authorities follow to protect travelers from Infection with the new Coronavirus.

Sources at the airport revealed that the visit of the Russian delegation comes within the framework of the Russian inspection tours where it will inspect Hurghada Airport fences, surveillance cameras, airstrip security systems, security procedures inside the station headquarters, continuous review of groups of workers assigned to service inside customs departments and inside aircraft.

The delegation will work to make sure that there are no remnants hindering take-off and landing operations within the Russian procedures for resuming air traffic, regular Russian tourism, and charter to Hurghada resorts.

At the end of the 5-day tour, the delegation will hold a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Civil Aviation before submitting their final report on the visit to the civil aviation authorities in Russia. This came in preparation for the issuance of the final report on the resumption of air traffic and tourism between the two countries and submitting the results of the Russian report to the Russian authorities.
