Russian Defense Min. Inspects Troops in Ukraine Front Line

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu is conducting an inspection tour of the command center of one of the military formations in the area of ​​operations in Ukraine.

Russian media reported that Shoigu inspected the command center of one of the formations of the "Vostok" (East) group in the southern Donetsk region.

During his tour, Shoigu listened to the report of the commander of the military unit on the current situation and the conduct of the military operation.

He also met with military leaders in the region, where he assured them of the importance of ensuring comprehensive support for the forces of this unit, as well as ensuring medical services and organizing the work of support units.

Shoigu noted that there is a lot of work to be done in the future.

The Russian Defense Minister expressed his thanks to all the military personnel who perform their duties in the special operation area, and awarded medals to a number of military personnel.
