The Russian Defense Ministry said today, Friday, that a group of Ukrainian extremists blew up bridges across the country in certain directions to prevent the withdrawal of Ukrainian regular forces.
"Groups of ultra-nationalists, numbering from 25 to 30 people, undergoing special training, have been inserted into the regular military units of the Ukrainian forces by the Ukrainian Security Service," the Russian defense statement said.
The ministry pointed out that the Ukrainian nationalists are focusing on the reluctant Ukrainian soldiers, and in the event that a military commander of the Ukrainian regular army decides to withdraw from the front, they constitute obstacles in their way to prevent them by blowing up bridges.
On the other hand, the Russian ministry pointed out in its statement: "The US Department of Defense ( Pentagon) and the Central Intelligence Agency ( CIA) advisers have taught the Ukrainian military leadership how to place missile artillery systems in residential areas and among civilians."
The Russian Defense Ministry said the use of residential areas to cover shooting sites is a war crime.
