Nicolay Neketen, a Russian biologist thinks that the coincidence of the heat waves in some countries across the world with the spread of the Indian strain of the Coronavirus (known also as (COVID-19) may indicate a relation between the disorders in weather in some parts of the planet with the sweeping of the virus throughout these areas
He stressed that it made clear during the spike of the pandemic that higher temperature degrees did not affect the rate of infections with the deadly virus.
It is worth noting that some experts claimed months earlier that hot weather is an unsuitable circumstance for the spread of the virus.
Neketen added that social factors reduce the infections with the COVID-19 because people become less in contact with each other over the months of summer so chances of contracting the disease down significantly.
He stressed that the virus itself doesn’t affect with higher temperature but higher degrees may result in appearing of new mutations of the virus.
Neketen told Sputnik”, a Russian news website, that heat, shining sun,
and ultraviolet rays have no effect on the infection with the COVID-19.
However, no one can say that heat leads to the appearance of new strains across the world.
But Neketen warns that freak heat could affect people who contract the virus as well as those who suffer from chronic diseases especially problems in blood circulations or heart ailments.
The Russian expert added fever is considered an additional burden to the heart so the method of the disease becomes more complicated.
