Chairman of Russian-Arab Business Council, Sergey Gorkov, confirmed that the volume of trade exchange between Russia and the Arab countries amounts to approximately $34 billion, with the potential to reach $50 billion.
"If we talk about the 22 member states of the League of Arab States, the volume of trade exchange reached about $34 billion by 2024, and there is a potential to reach $50 billion or more," Gorkov said in a statement reported by news TV channel "Russia Today"
He added that despite "payment restrictions," the volume of trade exchange grew by 5-10% during the past year, pointing out the increasing demand for Russian products in Arab markets, including food products and other goods and technologies.
