Russia’s current policy is increasingly oriented toward broad cooperation with major industrial countries in the Arab region, particularly Egypt, which is currently studying a project to establish a Russian Industrial Zone in the Suez Canal area in the near future.
Russian companies have also begun expanding their activities in the Gulf region, with six firms from the Moscow region set to participate in Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, taking place in the United Arab Emirates from November 4 to 6, 2025. The event is recognized as the world’s largest trade exhibition dedicated to the manufacturing, processing, and packaging of food and beverages.
The Moscow Export Center has organized the Russian delegation, which includes six major companies specializing in food and beverage production, processing, and packaging. This initiative comes as part of the Center’s broader efforts to expand the international presence of Russian products by facilitating participation in major global exhibitions. Over the course of 2025, the Moscow Export Center has pursued an intensive schedule of international engagements, taking part in exhibitions across the UAE, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, China, Iran, Malaysia, Belarus, Ethiopia, Vietnam, and Mongolia.

Among the participating companies, Molopak will present a comprehensive suite of solutions ranging from raw material components and processing equipment to advanced sustainable packaging. As one of Russia’s oldest manufacturers of paperboard-based packaging, the company will showcase complete service packages for producers of dairy products, juices, and beverages, including aseptic packaging, design development, marketing support, and packaging machinery assistance. Amarito will exhibit its range of plastic and paper packaging products for the confectionery sector, while Alucont, a specialist in high-quality, eco-friendly aluminum foil tableware, will present its products and expertise in food storage, transport, and preparation, with a focus on sustainable practices.
Technopol will highlight Russian engineering excellence through its production of industrial equipment and transport systems, presenting innovations in industrial shock-freezing lines, fermentation systems, and complex automated transport and technological networks. Meanwhile, Promfood will showcase its range of complex food additives and spice blends, and Plant RosSky will present its expertise in high-quality bovine connective tissue proteins, dietary fiber, and collagen proteins. These are produced using a unique technology that adheres to international quality standards, further reflecting Russia’s growing competitiveness in global food technology and manufacturing industries.
