Russian Ambassador in Cairo Georgiy Borisenko delivered a speech on the occasion of the National Day of Russia.
Borisenko said that Russia is celebrating its national day while it is facing fierce opposition from the US, and Europe as they seek to destroy Russia on the economic and military level, highlighting that they want Russia to surrender.
The ambassador added that the West always targeted destroying and tearing the Russian lands apart, and extermination the Russian people. In addition, the US is always strengthening Ukraine to destroy Russia.
He pointed out that Russia is always strong as it beats all its temptations.
Russia is facing the whole NATO, and it is defending the rights of all people to live without the interference of the West. So, the Russian resistance is hard and long.
After that, the Russian ambassador praised the Russian relationships with Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
On Russia's relationship with Egypt, the Russian official asserted that Egypt is among the key partners of Russia, and the relations between Egypt and Russia existed centuries ago, and, 80 years of diplomatic relations between both countries.
He highlighted that the relations with Egypt are not only on the political and economic level, but also on food security, and nuclear energy, especially Russia is assisting Egypt with the first nuclear station in the country.
Finally, he wished the best for all Egyptians and Russians.
