Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on Sunday that Russian air defenses shot down another Ukrainian drone approaching Moscow.
"A drone heading towards Moscow was destroyed," Sobyanin told the Russian news agency TASS. "Rescue teams are working at the crash site."
According to TASS, Saturday's drone attack on the Moscow region was the largest since the beginning of the year. Air defenses reportedly destroyed 65 drones in less than 12 hours.
