Russia Today's correspondent in occupied Jerusalem confirmed on Saturday evening that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was urgently transferred to the emergency room at Sheba Hospital in Tel Aviv.

According to the Hebrew newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth, the circumstances and reasons for Netanyahu's transfer to the hospital are still unclear.

For its part, the Hebrew channel "Kan" reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu was transferred to Sheba Hospital after suffering from a health problem.

In turn, Hebrew Channel 12 said that there was no information available about Netanyahu's condition, noting that he was conscious when he arrived at the hospital.

"The prime minister has arrived at Sheba Medical Center and is in good condition and is undergoing a medical examination," Netanyahu's office said.
