Russia will host the 3rd International Technology Congress (ITC-2026) and the TECHNOLOGIES exhibition from 8 to 10 September at the Patriot Exhibition Centre in the Moscow Region, bringing together government officials, industry leaders and technology innovators to discuss international cooperation and technological development, according to TV BRICS.
More than 5,000 delegates from over 40 countries are expected to attend the three-day event, while more than 300 organisations will showcase innovations spanning artificial intelligence, robotics, aerospace, digital infrastructure, telecommunications and advanced computing.
This year's congress will focus on deploying knowledge-intensive technologies to support national development projects, strengthen technological leadership and expand access to international markets for domestically developed products.
Speaking ahead of the event, Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said the congress would unite industry associations from Russia and partner countries to address key technological challenges through cross-sector collaboration, helping to develop comprehensive solutions and create new opportunities for industrial modernisation.
The programme will feature plenary and strategic sessions examining technological sovereignty, labour productivity, open-source software, open architectures and international technology partnerships.
Alongside the congress, the TECHNOLOGIES exhibition will present sector-specific innovations across multiple clusters, including artificial intelligence, unmanned systems, service robotics, industrial software, data storage, space technologies, satellite manufacturing, energy solutions, telecommunications, consumer technologies and video games.
A dedicated SPACETECH cluster will showcase the latest developments in space technology and services, while the Inter-Industry Forum on Data Center Infrastructure will explore policy, security and infrastructure challenges facing modern data centres.
The event will also host the ICS Forum on Unmanned Systems, Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems, bringing together developers, manufacturers and end users to discuss applications across agriculture, healthcare, construction and the energy sector, alongside regulatory frameworks and export opportunities.
ITC-2026 forms part of Russia's Decade of Science and Technology programme, which runs from 2022 to 2031, and is supported by the BRICS Centre for Industrial Competencies under the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
