The Russian Economy Ministry said on Thursday that Russia will suspend exports of wheat, corn meslin, rye, and barley to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) until August 31, in a move to secure its domestic market,
The ministry added that Russia will also ban sugar exports to third countries until the same date, but some exceptions will be possible for EEU, whose members include Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
