Russia has expressed readiness to discuss the possibility of a United Nations-supervised arrangement in Ukraine with the United States and other international partners, even as fighting between Moscow and Kyiv continues.

A Russian deputy foreign minister said Moscow is open to examining proposals related to potential UN oversight or administration in Ukraine. He added that Russia would suspend military operations on the day of elections if Kyiv sets a date, describing the move as part of broader discussions surrounding a political settlement.

The remarks come amid ongoing uncertainty over the feasibility of any international administration, as active hostilities persist across several fronts.

Russian authorities reported that air defenses intercepted three Ukrainian drones over Moscow in recent hours. Additional drone attacks targeted several regions, including Krasnodar Krai, leading to temporary flight suspensions and injuries among civilians, according to officials.

The developments highlight parallel diplomatic signaling and continued military escalation, underscoring the fragile and unresolved nature of the conflict.
