The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday that it had thwarted an attack by Ukrainian drone boats on two civilian transport ships in the Black Sea.
The ministry said earlier that 3 Ukrainian drone boats attacked two ships of the Russian Navy in the Black Sea, 340 km southwest of Sevastopol, and destroyed them.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that Russian anti-aircraft units shot down a number of drones that targeted the capital, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, but one of the planes evaded the defenses and struck again a high-rise building that had been targeted earlier in the past week.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on the Telegram application that its forces thwarted a "terrorist" attack from the Ukrainian side and shot down two drones in the suburbs to the west of the city center.
"Another drone was hit by radio electronic devices and when it got out of control it crashed in the area of the complex of non-residential buildings in Moskva City," the ministry said, referring to a mall in the capital.
