Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian forces are carrying out successful offensive operations in the area of the city of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut), near Donetsk.
The Russian defense confirmed that more than 50 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 6 armored vehicles were destroyed there within a day.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that 540 Russian soldiers were killed during the past 24 hours, taking the total death toll among the Russian army to 90,000.
