On Friday, the Kremlin announced the recovery of the flight recorders from Wagner Leader Yevgeny Prigozhin’s crashed private jet.
"The investigation seized the flight recorders, a detailed examination of the scene continues,” TASS cited Russian authorities.
"At present, items and documentation that are important for establishing all the circumstances of the crash are also being seized, and the necessary forensic examinations will be ordered.”
The records of the flight, black boxes, were recovered and they carried various information about the route of the trip, data, and operating conditions.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent, Thursday, his first public comments on the death of the leader of the Wagner group Yevgeny Prigozhin after he was killed in a plane crash.
Putin said that he sent his condolences to “Wagner Group employees” who died in the same accident, on Wednesday.
The crash took place in Moscow and killed everyone on board, according to Russia’s aviation agency, including Prigozhin.
