Ukraine's General Staff of the Armed Forces affirmed that Russia postponed its military rotation in Syria, as the Russian troops are leading full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

"Due to combat in Ukraine, the rotation of units of the 68th General Military Army of the Eastern Military District in the Syrian Arab Republic has been moved," Alexander Stupun wrote on his Facebook Page.

“The military forces of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation are campaigning on reserve military officers to sign short-term contracts between 3 months and 1 year,” he added.

He also accused the Russian forces of carrying out aviation and missile strikes on Ukraine’s infrastructure and residential neighborhoods involving air and marine components.

"In the Donetsk and Tavriian destinations, the occupiers are trying to have a fiery impact and storm action on most destinations," the general asserted.

"The enemy strengthened the group of troops by relocating from the territory of the Belgorod region to the district of the Svatov settlement of separate units of the Central Military District."
