More than 700,000 civilians have been evacuated from Donbas to Russia since start of the war, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.

Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Russian National Defense Control Center said on Sunday that the Russian side evacuated the civilians without the participation of the Ukrainian authorities, pointing out that the Ukrainian national battalions are detaining about 6,500 foreign citizens from 13 countries.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces had destroyed the headquarters of the Ukrainian nationalist "Dnipro" battalion in the eastern Dnipropetrovsk province, as well as 85 Ukrainian military facilities.

It is worth mentioning that the Russian-Ukrainian war has entered its second month as thousands of soldiers from both sides have been killed and millions have been displaced from the Ukrainian side since the start of Russian operations in Ukrainian territory on February 24.

Several countries have imposed significant economic sanctions on Moscow, while Russia has responded by imposing personal sanctions on a number of American and Canadian leaders.
