"Despite the obstacles created by Kyiv over the past day, and without the participation of the Ukrainian authorities, 12,066 people were evacuated to Russia from dangerous areas in Ukraine, Donetsk, and Luhansk, among them 1,715 children, "Mizintsev said in comments reported by 'Sputnik' News Agency.

Moreover, he noted that more than 863,000 people have been evacuated, including more than 158,000 children, since the start of the military operation.

It is worth mentioning that, more than 845,000 refugees have arrived in Russia from Ukraine and Donbass, since the start of the military operation, Russian sources revealed.

Moreover, the sources pointed out that there are more than 32,000 refugees, including nearly 12,000 children, in temporary accommodation centers in 45 regions throughout the country.

"The rest were distributed to relatives or acquaintances living in Russia," the sources added.
