The Russian giant "Gazprom" said that it will send 42.3 million cubic meters of gas to Europe via Ukraine on Sunday, compared to 42.4 million cubic meters yesterday.

In another context, Gazprom signed an agreement in June with the National Iranian Gas Company to supply gas via pipeline to Iran.

The agreement extends for 30 years, and includes exporting the surplus Russian gas that is not used locally in Iran to other countries, and its value ranges between $10-12 billion  annually, with Russia bearing the cost of establishing the necessary infrastructure.

The United States and the European Union have imposed a maximum selling price for Russian oil of $60 per barrel, meaning that Western shipping and insurance companies cannot participate in Russian oil trade unless the oil is sold below the price limit.
