On Monday, Russian Foreign Minister (FM) Sergei Lavrov discussed with Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong the situation in Ukraine and the Korean Peninsula.
In a statement, The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that “the diplomats discussed a group of important topics, including the Ukrainian crisis and the situation on the Korean Peninsula.”
The two sides exchanged views on security issues in the Eurasian space, as well as in the Asia-Pacific region amid the West’s active attempts to create bloc-based military-political structures there, according to the statement.
