Russia announced today, Saturday,  that she is ready to sell (Sukhoi-35) multi-use combat aircraft to China.

Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, said until today that Moscow has not yet received any new orders from China for the purchase of additional batches of Su-35 fighters.

He added during the Eastern Economic Forum, as reported by the Russian TASS news agency, that  Russia is ready for further cooperation with the Chinese side in this regard when it receives purchase orders.

It is worth noting that the Eastern Economic Forum is being held in the Russian city of Vlapostok in the Far East of the country from 2 to 4 September.

The forum includes conferences and meetings face to face and via the Internet, and mainly deals with new opportunities for the Far East countries in Asia in the changing world.

However,  the head of the Russian state corporation "Rostec", Sergei Chemezov, announced in July of 2019 that his country was ready to supply Turkey with Su-35 fighters, in light of the United States' suspension of Ankara's participation in the F-35 program and the suspension of the pilot training program. The Turks are on this plane.

"We are ready to supply them with Sukhoi-35 fighters," Chemezov said.

The Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, had announced earlier that Ankara sees the Russian Sukhoi-57 fighters as an alternative to the American "F-35" fighters due to the purchase of the Russian S-400 air defense systems, noting that the "Sukhoi -57" fighter is designed in direct competition with the American fighters - F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning.

In December 2017, Russia and Turkey signed an agreement on a loan for the supply of S-400 air defense systems, and the United States of America (USA) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)  have repeatedly criticized Ankara for this deal.

In July 2019, Washington suspended Ankara's participation in the F-35 program and decided to stop the training program for Turkish pilots on this plane.
