U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Tuesday that President Donald Trump is "personally taking charge" of the file to end the war in Sudan.
Rubio stressed that Trump is the only leader in the world capable of ending the Sudan crisis.
In a related context, British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said via the "X" platform that: "Sudan needs a global push for peace."
Trump had announced last month that he would work with the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, along with other partners in the region, to end the ongoing war in Sudan.
