Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed, Thursday, that whoever assassinated the late Iranian Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani will lose as a result to this brutal act, according to IRNA.

Rouhani remarks came during his speech in a video-conference ceremony to inaugurate development projects in four provinces.

He asserted that Iranian and regional youth will continue with devotion to the resistance path stronger than ever.

"As long as the US forces are in the region, it will not experience good days," Rouhani stated, expressing hope that regional nations would “someday cut the foot of the aggressors and criminals.”

"Through the assassination of Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, Trump committed injustice and unforgivable sins, in addition to many crimes, which we will not forget," he added.

Earlier, Arab media published videos for the first time showing the arrival of the plane of the late Iranian Quds Force commander at Baghdad Airport.

The Al-Arabiya channel, which published the video, stated that “The US drone lasted only seven minutes after Soleimani’s arrival until the moment he was targeted and assassinated.”

The video shows the deployment of Shiite security forces to receive the plane, and a number of cars in the company of Al-Muhandis and the protocol official at the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces.

A few days ago, former Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi revealed that “The US plane that assassinated Soleimani, and the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Al-Muhandis, near Baghdad airport, had obtained Iraqi approval.”

“The plane that targeted the leaders near the airport got Iraqi approval,” Al-Abadi said, in a statement with Iraqi television, noting that he “refused the participation of the UAE, Iranian and Turkish in the battles against ISIS.”
