"Room 207" New Ahmed Khaled Tawfik's TV Adaptation

Shahid VIP is working on "Room 207" by Ahmed Khaled Tawfik for adapting it. This adaptation comes after the huge success of Netflix's "Paranormal" series.

Tawfik's son has posted on his account on Facebook that the preparations for the series started a year ago, and he promises his father fans with stunning work.

Taking place in 1968, the events of the novel originally revolve around a hotel room that carries the number of (207) which the owner rejects to close despite its horrors.

Many enter the room but a few survive physically but dead spiritually. They escape the room while carrying unforgettable and horrible memories.

Therefore, Gamal Al Sawaf who is the main protagonist of the novel decides to resolve the mysteries of this room and linking them to his life secrets regardless of the warnings he receives.

The series is set to be aired in Winter 2021 and scenarist Tamer Ibrahim finished scripting the episodes and now the crew is checking the suitable places for shooting the series.
