New updates regarding the missing of Egyptian actress Rola Mahmoud revealed today by her brother, Tarek.
He expressed to El Watan news that the actress contacted them two weeks ago before her missing. Moreover, he expressed that she had recovered from the COVID-19 infection.

Mahmoud's brother added that she was planning to return to Cairo. However, she disappeared and her phones were switched off. He asserted that he will do his best to reach her.
In the same context, the Egyptian union in England filed a police report about the actress missing and contacted her brother Tarek to follow up with the concerned authorities.
Mahmoud is missing since March according to her friends and fans as she went offline after declaring her COVID-19 infection.
In her last tweet, she said, “my medical case is getting worse after I was infected with COVID-19.”
The actress added that the hospitals in the UK are full of patients, and she has no idea if they can accept her case or not.
Since this tweet, she didn’t post anything on her social media platforms.
Therefore, many fans on social media asked about her current case and if she is still alive or dead.
Egyptian film critic Mahmoud Qasem revealed during a phone interview with Sayed Ali that he has no information about her COVID-19 infection.
Regarding the official response of the Egyptian Syndicate of Acting Professions, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, the head of the syndicate, revealed that she is not listed officially on the syndicate’s membership lists, adding, that the syndicate has no confirmed information about her.
Furthermore, Engineer Mervit Khalil, the head of the Egyptian union in England, highlighted that searching for the actress needs an official request from one of her family members. She added that none of her family members announced that she is missing.
She also confirmed that the union has no information about her as many of the Egyptians in the UK didn’t record their names on the database of the union.
Many reports confirmed her death during the first COVID-19 wave that hit the UK and left a huge number of victims behind.
Until this moment, no updates have been announced regarding her place or death.
