A total of 16 passengers died and three others were injured when two pickup trucks collided in southern Algeria on Monday.
The accident took place on a highway in the country's desert south, the civil protection agency said on Facebook.
The dead included 13 Guineans and one person from Mali.
Ennahar TV reported that whose injured are in critical condition.
