Ukraine has confirmed it launched long-range strikes overnight on Nov. 13 against Russian military infrastructure in occupied Crimea, occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and multiple locations inside Russia, employing a range of domestically produced weapons including its Flamingo and Bars missiles.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces hit “several dozen” targets in an effort to degrade Russia’s military, logistical, and economic capabilities.

“To conduct complex strikes, Ukraine employs attack UAVs, loitering munitions, and various types of missiles,” the military said. “Last night, several long-range systems were launched, including the domestically developed Flamingo, Bars, and Liutyi drones.”

The Flamingo, described by President Volodymyr Zelensky in August as “the most successful” missile in Ukraine’s arsenal, reportedly has a range of 3,000 kilometers (1,864 miles) and carries a 1,150-kilogram warhead. It is one of several indigenous strike capabilities Ukraine has rapidly developed amid restrictions on the use of Western-supplied systems inside Russia.

Ukrainian weapons struck multiple high-value military sites, including: The Morskoy Neftyanoy Terminal oil storage facility, a helicopter parking area, a drone storage and preparation sites at the Kirovske airfield, and an air-defense radar station near Yevpatoriya, as well as targets in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In Zaporizhzhia, Ukrainian forces hit an oil depot near Berdyansk as well as forward command posts belonging to Russia’s 5th Combined Arms Army and 127th Motor Rifle Division.

Ukrainian long-range systems also hit multiple locations inside Russian territory, the General Staff said. Damage assessments are ongoing. Earlier in the day, officials in the Russian city of Oryol reported explosions.

Local Telegram channels posted videos of loud blasts and debris falling into residential districts. No casualties have been confirmed.

While Zelensky has publicly praised the Flamingo missile, its manufacturer, the deep-strike drone company Fire Point, has been under investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU).

According to sources cited by the Kyiv Independent, including current and former government officials and defense-industry representatives, investigators have been examining whether Fire Point may have inflated component costs, overstated production numbers, or both.

The company confirmed the existence of the investigation but denied wrongdoing, characterizing concerns as overblown. Ukraine’s defense-industry finances remain difficult to audit due to the wartime secrecy surrounding weapons production.
