Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Meets Russian Defense Minister

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on Sunday, met Andrei Beloussov, Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, on a visit to the DPRK to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations.

He gladly received the Russian defense minister and had a warm and friendly talk with him.

Andrei Beloussov courteously conveyed the warm greetings from Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed deep thanks for it and asked Andrei Beloussov to convey his comradely greetings to the esteemed Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

Warmly welcoming Defense Minister Beloussov's visit to Pyongyang at a meaningful time, he said that just one year ago, the DPRK units and the Russian armed forces waged a joint struggle to annihilate the armed gangs, who invaded the border area of the Russian Federation, and achieved brilliant war results in liberating Kursk. And he expressed his pleasure to do the sacred undertaking to perpetuate the history of the joint struggle, together with the Russian friends, on the occasion of the day.

Saying that Defense Minister Beloussov's visit to the DPRK on behalf of the military leadership of the Russian Federation further enhances the political significance of the inauguration of the memorial museum of combat feats, he expressed thanks to the Russian leadership for its sincerity in the development of the relations of alliance between the DPRK and Russia.

Defense Minister Beloussov expressed his pleasure to take part in the historic inauguration ceremony of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations, saying that the matchless heroism and bravery displayed by the excellent sons of the DPRK will remain forever in the history of militant friendship between the armies of the two countries.

Exchanged at the talk were broad views and opinions on the issues of mutual concern, including the daily-aggravating international and regional situations. The talk discussed a series of issues for further consolidating and developing the political and military cooperation and assistance between the two countries.

"The DPRK government will, as ever, fully support the policy of the Russian Federation to defend the national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security interests," Comrade Kim Jong Un said," expressing belief that the Russian army and people would surely win a victory in the just sacred war."
