On Tuesday, the Republicans made their fourth appointment for who would replace the ousted US House of Representatives Speaker.

Louisiana's Mike Johnson won an internal party vote a few hours after the victory of the former nominee previous  Tom Emmer, before announcing his withdrawal.

The Congress is still facing a difficulty in selecting a new speaker after the fall of Kevin McCarthy.

Early this month, the US House of Representatives ousted its Speaker Kevin McCarthy to be the first US House Speaker to be ousted in history.

The result of the vote came as 216 for removing McCarthy to 210. McCarthy responded that he won't run for this position again, saying: "I believe I can continue to fight, but maybe in a different manner."
