Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, is ready for presenting the trophy of Wimbledon to the winner even if a Russian or Belarusian athlete wins the tournament next July, Daily Mail reported.

It is expected that the Princess of Wales will continue her role of presenting the Wimbledon trophy to the champion this year.

This report came after the decision of All England Club soon-to-announce allowing players from Russia, and Belarus to compete after they were banned last year.

Kate Middleton is the patron of the All England Club, and her duties include presenting the trophies to the champions of both gentlemen's and ladies' singles events.

Previously, there were some concerns over a senior Royal Family member presenting the trophy for a winner from the two countries that were banned from Wimbledon in 2022.
