Egyptian reports claimed on Monday that Al Ahly's first-choice goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy tested positive for coronavirus.
El Shenawy had been appeared in a photo during his international duty with the Egyptian National team, alongside Arsenal star Mohamed El Neny and Zamalek's midfielder El Winsh, who contracted the respiratory disease.
Egypt's 1st-choice goalkeeper will undergo a coronavirus swab before the CAF PCR tests, set to be made on Wednesday.
It is worth mentioning that Al Ahly face off Zamalek in the CAF Champions League finals on Friday.
