On Thursday, several reports indicated that director and former MP Khaled Youssef will return to Egypt, after many years outside his homeland.
A judicial source expressed that Youssef is not wanted for any cases or investigations and the director has the right to visit his homeland any time as an Egyptian citizen, according to reports.
Youssef left Egypt a long while ago and traveled abroad with his wife artist Shalimar Sharbatly.
The director is considered one of the most renowned filmmakers in Egypt as he was taught by the legendary Youssef Chahin.
He participated in a number of remarkable films such as "Hena Maysara," "Al Akhar," "Heya Fawda," and "Al Rayes Omar Harb."
In 2019, the director left Egypt and traveled to Paris to live with his wife after being involved in various cases related to posting sexual content.
The main reason for the cases is the spread of sexual videos of him with a rising actress: Mona Farouk, and Shema El Hag.
