He also noted that the program to increase electricity prices has been postponed for the third time as a result of international and local conditions, bearing in mind that the cost of electricity production increased as a result of these repercussions as well, and the increase in oil prices globally.

Sisi made it clear that his speech was aimed at making citizens aware of the details of what was happening.

Sisi has opened, Monday, the animal and dairy production complex project in Sadat City in Menoufia Governorate, in the presence of a large number of senior statesmen, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

The project works to provide an integrated system in the field of livestock development and related activities in order to maximize the return on the results and components of projects, by applying the latest scientific methods in their implementation and management.

The complex consists of various kinds of livestock farms, integrated modern automated slaughterhouses, and factories for various dairy products.

The project aims at achieving relative self-sufficiency and reduce the cost of production requirements, while providing many suitable job opportunities for various disciplines and levels of scientific qualification.

The integrated complex for animal and dairy production was established in Sadat on an area of 1,000 acres, with a total of 5,000 milking heads with a capacity of 150 tons of milk per day, and 3,000 fattening heads with a capacity of 1.5 tons of live meat per cycle.

The complex includes 6 sub-farms, including 5 milking farms and one fattening farm, a veterinary scientific center for research and training, a veterinary hospital, a maternity building, an artificial insemination building, various types of livestock farms, modern integrated slaughterhouses and factories for various dairy products.

It works to provide products in quantities, quality and appropriate prices within the reach of the Egyptian citizen, and to achieve added value by making optimal use of the available capabilities through mutual integration between animal production projects and agricultural and fodder production projects that are implemented by companies affiliated with the National Service Projects Organization.

Sisi stressed that prices in Egypt are lower than those in some Western countries, adding: “I want to tell the Egyptians to be clear about how much the prices in Egypt are supposed to be. No more than 2%, and these are constants that he has for many years in all international variables."

“If the cost of energy in Egypt was in accordance with international prices, there would have been a very big jump in the cost, meaning that the one who transports his products inside Egypt still pays the cost of 50% fuel and less than 50% for a liter of gasoline at $2, which means 40 pounds," he said.

He noted that "I say this to the Egyptians, so that they know that the reality we have is the most that we can do to control and control prices, according to what happened in the world today. I am talking about a barrel of oil at $120. Well, if it was $150?
