The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) documented the total number of Israeli violations committed by the occupation army and settlers in occupied Jerusalem since the beginning of this year. The center indicated that it had recorded 440 Israeli violations in Jerusalem since the beginning of 2026, explaining that the violations included 14 deportation orders, 25 desecrations of holy sites, and 145 closures and restrictions imposed through the erection of military checkpoints.
The center noted that occupation forces arrested and detained 44 Jerusalemites since the beginning of this year, in addition to carrying out 29 settlement activities and attacks by settlers. The Israeli occupation's violations resulted in injuries to 24 Palestinians, while the occupation army and settlers carried out 14 shooting incidents. There were 42 arrests in Jerusalem, 78 raids, 23 demolitions and destruction of Palestinian property, and 36 house raids.
