Remembering Wael Nour on His Birth Anniv.

Today (April 24) marks the birth anniversary of Egyptian actor Wael Nour, best known for his role in "Laih Ya Dunya".

Over a career spanning three decades, Nour worked in many hit movies, plays, and dramas and emerged as one of the highest-paid actors who deployed his impeccable sense of humor.

Born on 24 April 1961, he earned a bachelor degree from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts.

Nour made his artistic debut in the 1970's as a child actor on popular daytime TV children's programs.

In the 1980's and 90s, the comedy actor made a transition to teenage then adult roles.

Nour is well-known for some of his seminal work such as the television series Al Mal wa Al Banoon (Money and Sons) and Al Bakhil w Ana (The cheap and I),“A madding condition” and “El Gabalawy”.

He also featured and starred in several films such as Sanawat Al Khatar (Years of danger) and Al ehtyat wageb (precaution is mandatory).

His last film was "Al-Laila Al-Kabira" (2015). He breathed his last at his home in Agami, Alexandria, aged 55. The cause of death was a heart attack, according to the ministry of health.
