Remembering Egyptian actress Mirna El-Mohandes on Her Death Anniv.

Today, August 6, marks the death anniversary of Egyptian actress Mirna El-Mohandes, best known for playing Natalia in 'Mahomoud El-Masry' TV drama.

She is regarded as one of the finest actress of her generation.

Born in 1978, in Cairo,  El-Mohandes earned her degree from the High Institute for Theatrical Arts.

She made her artistic debut at age 9 starring in commercials.

Then, she started to act in television, landing roles in the popular series Arabesque in 1994 and Saken Ussadi (Lives Across From Me) in 1995.

Throughout her career, El-Mohandes featured in various remarkable roles in films such as Mr. Dollar, Youm Ma Eetabelna (The Day We Met), and Kalam Garayed or (Newspaper Talk).

The young actress made her last appearance in the film entitled Zigzag which screened in December 2014.

In 2015, El-Mohandes died of colon cancer at the International Medical Centre at the age of 36.
