She added that they were somehow concerned with this visit as it came after the tragic Beirut explosion and amid the COVID-19 second wave.

Regarding the topics of the discussion between Macron and Fayrouz, she explained, "the meeting was beautiful and spontaneous. I felt that we were talking to a friend."

She added, "We preferred to keep the conversation between Fayrouz and Macron hidden in our home. Macron is a smart man and he understood Fayrouz's world and her life. Also, he respected our privacy concerns."

Furthermore, Rahbani underscored that Macron's visit was, to Fayrouz, as a Lebanese icon more than a singer.

Macron revealed to the press after his meeting with Fayrouz, "I told her everything that she represented to me, of a Lebanon that we love and that many are expectant of, a nostalgia that many have.”

After the visit, the Lebanese channel T. Lebanon aired rare footage of Fayrouz's concert in Paris.
