The inaugural edition of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Film Festival has been pushed back once again.
The festival is now scheduled to take place from December 6-15, three weeks later than the previously announced November 11-20 slot.
The inaugural edition was initially set to launch in April 2020 but was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Red Sea Film Festival is set to be held at the UNESCO world heritage site of Jeddah Old Town in the cosmopolitan city on the Red Sea coast, under the theme of “Metamorphosis”.
The edition will celebrate cinema as a force for positive change, while also reflecting on the blossoming local and regional scenes.
